Carey Ooka
Carey Gay Ooka, 62, of Hilo, died Aug. 29 at Wahiawa General Hospital on Oahu. Born in Olaa, he was a retired musician.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Sept. 15 at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home in Hilo for a 9:30 a.m. service. Family requests aloha attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.
He is survived by wife, Geraldine Ooka, of Hilo; son, Samuel Ooka, of Honolulu; daughter, Aldine Arce, of Hilo; brother, Jeri (Mary) Ooka, of Kauai; sister, Margo Ooka, of Honolulu; two grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
